Speeding ticket help?

Im 20 years old and I drive my moms car its a Honda Civic 2004, anyway I was goin 88 mph on a 55 mph zone coming from NJ. I got pulled over by a NJ state trooper in NJ. I am a NY state driver and I am under my parents insurance. The cop lowered my speed and raised the speed limit. He wrote I was going 74 mph on a 65mph zone how much is this going to cost me since I am living on an extremely tight budget. I don't have to appear to court he said I just have to call some number.
