Why does my big tetra keep jumping into my birthing tank were there is one baby in there ?

Some fish just like to explore things, meaning they like to move around and jump out of the tank. Your tetra probably wants to figure out why it can't get in, so it jumps over, then can't get back out because there's not enough space to get a "swimming start."
