What tool makes cavity's in a guitars body to put pickups etc.?

You won't find anything arround the house. It looks like in the pic they used a router. Note the lines at the botom of the hole. To do it properly I wouldn't sugest any alternitaves. Although if a router is out of your price range I suppose a few pilot holes and a sharp chisle set may do. I personaly would be reluctant because if you don't know what your doing one bad slip and it turns your project into a paper weight.
