What kind of cleats...?

If your feet or legs can handle all of the running in soccer as heavy as the cleats are then go with them. I referee club and high school soccer and the cutting off of the toe cleat takes place a lot for noncompetitive teams in club and poorer schools in high school. The referee will absolutely check this and he or she will not be surprised to see that you cut the toe cleat off. I strongly do not recommend wearing soccer boots during football or baseball due to ankle sprains since football is a bit more of a contact sport and baseball you take the chance of stepping wrong on a base.
