Meiosis 1 nuclear membrane?

no, you shouldnt draw a nuclear membrane around a cell in metaphase 1. the nuclear membrane breaks dowm during prophase 1, which is right before metaphase. in metaphase 1, the nuclear membrane has already disolved, so that the spindle fibers can attach from the centrioles to the centromeres of the chromosmes to line them up in the center of the cell. hope this helped!
