How gory/ual is the movie Atonement?

Personally, I didn't find Atonement especially explicit or offensive. The IMDb description pretty much says it all. There's no nudity in the scene (except for a bare ), it's very brief. James McAvoy's language is a bit shocking at one point, if your parents don't like that sort of thing. Atonement is a great movie though. It's not lewd or disturbing, although it is very sad. It's not a bunch of senseless and violence. It deals with mature subject matter like the of a minor and war scenes, but nothing inappropriate for a mature teen.
