Do you support the idea of teaching people that God needs to be appeased by blood sacrifice?

Christ himself did a lot of preaching to the multitudes, and he never preached anything like that. So do you think it is wise to teach a gospel that undermines his theme of thinking of God as our loving Father? (thirsting to be appeased with blood for sin is not the picture of a loving Father)
